TRENDS FOR THE FALL 2009
Solid colours bottoms for Spring and Summer 2009, now lets reverse with prints on the legs and solid on top. Try Dalmatian, Leopard, Zebra, colorful stripes and swirls, creeps climbing up the legs with solid colors in silk, cotton and your favorite materials and styles like a sweater. Leggings, skirts and trousers paired with prints or solids will get you a long way.
Pencil skirts, the slim and tall silhouette is back again, wide belts, belted sweaters, stockings – thick and cabled or slim pants in leather, wool or your choice, with or without close fitted jackets, mixed textures and co-ordinated or same colour will add to the panache.
Try gem colours of deep yet rich emerald, sapphire, burgundy – mixed with silver, gold or bronze. Will add rich intensity to the look which is warm and lively in cold winter months! If you want to tone it down, they go well with charcoal too.
Black and white are in this Fall. One could never go wrong with them – to hide the broad heavy parts – wear black to accentuate wear white. But there are such classy amazing possibilities with black and white as dresses one should bing on them in velvets and cashmere and other materials and textures.
You could do knee length skirts which are high this season – 2″ above or below knees will do – imagine the silhouette, knee length pencil skirts and high stilettos! In other kneelengths which are in are the poufy & circle skirts.
It is the 50th anniversary of Barbie doll and pink is in – this color of youth and innocence rules this Fall season. Please choose the tones of pinks according to your skin colour – light pink for fair ones and more intense shades for the tanner ladies. Pink looks great with charcoal and gray to sober it up. Try hot pink and fuchsia for that party, even pink over coats with hood will look classy with the candy floss pink.
